Philadelphia PGA 2021 Spring Meeting Evolve Golf Total Driving Challenge Results

Another Total Driving Challenge is in the books as Evolve Golf traveled to the city of Brotherly Love for the Philadelphia PGA Spring Meeting. The event was held at Rolling Green Golf Club, one of the top clubs in the region.

The 4th hole was the site of the Total Driving Challenge. The 4th hole normally a birdie hole for players played straight into the teeth of a 25MPH breeze. With a difficult uphill 2nd shot, finding the fairway on your drive was key. The overnight thunderstorms also dampened the fairways so those that kept it under the wind weren’t able to get the normal amount of roll you would see.

Despite the tough conditions there were several great drives during the day but three stood out from the others. In third was Andrew Diesel of Manufacturers G&CC. Jesse Hallet of Penn Oaks came in second. Our winner of this TDC was David Zimmaro from Overbrook GC. He had the longest drive of the day at 251 yards and strayed only 2 yards off center. We told you that wind was tough!

Evolve Golf would like to thank Brian Schulte and his entire staff for hosting a wonderful event. We also would like to thank Geoff Surrette and the rest of the Philadelphia PGA Section for running another flawless event. We look forward to our continued partnership with the Philadelphia PGA and all their members.

Thank you to all participants and congratulations to the Total Driving Challenge Winners.
