Evolve Golf travelled down to Baton Rouge Louisiana for the Gulf States Six Pro Championship
Overcast skies and intermittent rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of the 102 players that took to historic Baton Rouge Country Club for the annual Gulf States Six-Pro Championship on Monday. The Evolve Golf team braved the conditions for our traditional Total Driving Challenge and saw some great golf along the way. Based off of hole number 1, a 397 yard par 4 was the center of our TDC for the week.
Coming in first place after ranking distance and accuracy in the Total Driving Challenge was Benji Williams of Lions Hills Golf Club, with a 342 yard bomb of a drive, just five yards off of center of the fairway!
We would like to think the Gulf States PGA for hosting a great event, as well as the entire staff of Baton Rouge Country Club.
Shout out to the team of Benson, Brunetz, Hanko, Morrison, Simmons, and Sisk on winning the overall event at -21!
