2019 SCPGA Pro-Assistant

Evolve Golf headed to Rancho Mirage, CA for the SCPGA Pro-Assistant at the beautiful Mission Hills Country Club.

The Evolve Golf Total Driving Challenge was held on the challenging Hole #9. A 540 yard par 5, with a dogleg right and water down the entire right side. Those that were long enough to carry the bunker 260 yards from the tee were able to be rewarded with a shorter short to the green should they choose to go for two.

It was a beautiful two day event in the desert and many great drives were hit during the duration. Third place finish in the TDC after ranking distance and accuracy went to Chris Frame of South Hills Country Club with a 298 yard drive just 1 yard off of the center of the fairway. 2nd place went to Logan Scott of Oakmont Country Club with a 302 yard drive, just 1 yard off of center. Coming in first place in our Total Driving Challenge went to Chris Brown of Coronado Golf Course with a 304 yard drive just off of center of the fairway. Congratulations to each of our finalists.

1st Place. Chris Brown, Coronado GC

2nd Place:Logan Scott, Oakmont CC

3rd Place: Chris Frame, South Hills CC

Evolve Golf would like to thank Rodney Silvagni and the entire Mission Hills staff for their help during the tournament. We would also like to thank Max DeSpain and the entire SCPGA for a wonderfully run event.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the PGA show and the Pro-Assistant next season!

Just over a year and half ago, we launched our Wood Tees that Plant Tree program with Project Good Woods. A project in collaboration with the Arbor Day Foundation, where a portion of every sale goes towards helping areas damaged in the clubs region.
