2017 MET PGA Long Island Pro-Assistant Championship Evolve Golf TDC Results

The Metropolitan PGA welcomed The Evolve Golf team to Hamlet Golf & Country Club on Monday for the Long Island Taylor Made Pro-Assistant Championship. The forecast for the day was ideal, with temperatures in the mid to upper 60’s and a slight breeze players were eager to shed the windbreakers for a great day of golf. The Evolve team was set up on the 1st hole, a Par 4, measuring 417 yards from the black tee’s. The tee shot forced players to be precise with their drives. Many players found out that a few yards left or right ended up with a second shot from the bunkers that guarded the fairway.
There was a full field and The Evolve team measured some great drives. It was a tight race and every yard mattered in the end. The third place finisher, Erik Easton, had a drive of 278 yards and right on the center line of the fairway. In second place was Stephen Sanderson, with a drive of 292 yards and right on the center line as well. Our winner of the Total Driving Challenge, was Tom Withee, with a drive measuring 295 yards and right on the center line. Thank you to all players who came out to the event and all of our winners from The Total Driving Challenge!
Evolve Golf would like to thanks Jim Farrell and his staff for hosting the event and providing great course conditions for the field. Evolve Golf would also like to thank Kevin Rodine and the rest of the Metropolitan PGA Section for running yet another textbook event.
