2015 Carolinas PGA Head Professional Championship Total Driving Challenge Results

Cold and soggy conditions could not dampen the first day of the Carolina’s PGA Head Professional Championship at the beautiful and immaculate Berkeley Hall Golf Club. The 467 yard long 18th hole played brutal host for the Total Driving Challenge. Competitor’s drives were robbed of any roll.
Day two of the championship gave us a glimmer of spring and featured much drier conditions, but the fairways still would not yield much roll.  The second to last group of the day brought out the winning drive.  Brooks Blackburn struck a laser straight drive of 290 yards that landed a half yard off the mark. Mr. Blackburn went on to win the CPGA Head Professionals Championship.  Derek Easter claimed second place with a 286 yard drive that landed 3 yards from the target and Steve Isley finished in the money with a 280 yard drive 3 yards from center.  Congratulations to all;

2nd Place     Derek Easter
3rd Place     Steve Isley
The unofficial tee count;
